This site is for those who have ME/CFS or a similar illness (such as Fibromyalgia). There are very many ME sites out there, and an enormous amount of information to absorb. I hope that this website will help you to make a start. I have tried to keep it simple.

Do not worry if you feel bewildered. I remember how overwhelmed I felt when I first went online to find out what I could do about having ME. I have always found that people on these links have been very patient, understanding and helpful. We were all beginners once. They will welcome you and show you what to do.

On the map there are links to groups that hold regular meetings in the South-East and within the M25. I am hoping to include every group in these areas. If you know of one which could be included, please contact me (see below).

There are also links to some of the main associations and to online forums. Please click on the tabs if you would like to find out more.

Many people with ME have said to me "I wish someone had told me .......... when I first went down with ME." so the last tab takes you to a collection of those topics. I have tried to be as impartial and clear as possible, but the comments there are mine - please do not expect perfection! Action for ME and the ME Association have many useful booklets that you can buy or download as pdf files, and these develop the ideas much more fully.

If you feel that this site is useful and would like to help me to advertise it, please click here to download a pdf "poster" that you can print out and ask for it to be displayed in your local GPs' surgery or alternative health centre. I have found people very willing to put them up in my area.
